Situation
As a Peer Recovery Coach at Telecare’s HART, I was tasked by the HART Program Manager with learning the SOAR process and tailoring a set of standards operating procedures to the specific needs of the Housing Assistance and Retention Team.

- Developed an engagement strategy for external stakeholders across all supportive housing sites
- Tailored SOAR learning curriculum to HART program operations and clientele
- Created tailored work breakdown structure and schedule baseline for process implementation
- Briefed program manager and team members on SOAR methodology and tailored implementation plans to receive feedback and continuously improve operations
Results
Telecare HART implemented the SOAR process for clients at supportive housing sites across Santa Barbara county increasing access to assistance and accurate information regarding Social Security Disability Insurance applications.
